Come visit a gorgeous Barock and Rococco chateou in the neighborhood of Prague. The chateau invites to historical rooms full of tapestries and porcelain sets, bedrooms with original furniture and curtains.

Go see a unique old chateau library and spend a nice time in the French gardens with a labyrinth.

The city of Dobříš is located about 1 hour south of Prague and the Chateau is a dominant part of it.

The Chateau is in the ownership of the old nobel family Colloredo-Mansfeld. The family property was confiscated by the state after 1945 and the family left the country. The chateau was returned to the Colloredo-Mansfelds in the restitution that took place after fall of communism in Czechoslovakia in 1989 and since that it has been in private hands.

The chateau was beautifully restored and became a tourist destination.
