Come visit a beautiful Gothic castle that was rebuilt to a comfortable seat of the successor to the Austrian throne, Franz Ferdinand d´Este whose assassination in serbian Sarajevo in 1914 was one of the reasons to start World War I.

The castle is furnished with the original drape tapestries, statues, tens of paintings, as well as the personal things of the royal Hapsburg family.

The castle is very visited for its unique collections of hunting trophies and is located as a Gothic castle on a hill not to be conquered and surrounded by deep forests.

The castle offers a look at the bears in the former moat as well as several eagles, falcons and buzzards…
