Come visit a unique medieval city in Central Bohemia. In the Middle Ages the second most important town in the Czech Kingdom famous for huge deposits of silver..

Go see the original mint with the exhibition of old silver coins – grosches- in the Italian Court, a seat of the Czech kings.

Continue through the main square with shops and along the Rennaissance and Gothic houses to St. John´s Church and the unique Stony Fountain from 1490´s…

Then pass by the narrow unregularly paved lanes to the Jesuits College to see the gallery of their main religious patrons and you will approach a treasure of Czech Gothic architecture, the Cathedral of Saint Barbara. This three-rooved giant church from the 15th century offers an incredible experience to learn about medieval architecture – its pointed arches and flying butresses are breath-taking.

The last part of the tour is a speciality of the Czech Republic, the Ossuary, a crypt of a catholic chapel decorated by thousands of real human bones. These bones were constructed into pyramides and chandeliers from the bodies of soldiers who were killed in this area during the Hussite protestant movement in the 15th century, as well as people who died of the black pleigh epidemic. Please note that a visit to the Ossuary is entirely optional and the sensitive people can opt for a longer stay in the historical paved streets of Kutna Hora or an earlier return to Prague instead.

The city is at the same time a birth place of Josef Kajetán Tyl, a composer of the Czech national anthem.

All the admissions are paid directly by the clients.
